Grace Cory (she/her)
BA; Master,
Counselling Psych. Student
Student Therapist

Welcome! My name is Grace Cory. I am proud to be a student therapist at Thrive Counselling and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a major in psychology and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

I recognize that reaching out for help can be scary; as such, my clients are always greeted with genuineness and warmth. I consider it a privilege to help individuals from every age and stage of life on their healing journey. Additionally, I am proud to be an ally and advocate for the 2SLGBTQI+ community and am dedicated to continuing my education on the most up-to-date and inclusive practices.

Some of my favorite frameworks are person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy. I am passionate about meeting clients where they are and believe that their voice is instrumental in navigating their healing journey. I have varied interests and am especially passionate about helping those with anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, and members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, cooking and baking, and watching movies of almost any genre. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and help you thrive!
