About Sheri Rose
Sheri Rose
MBA, MMFT
Associate Therapist
Hi, my name is Sheri. I’m an associate therapist at Thrive Counselling, with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Winnipeg. Alongside my clinical training, I’m a certified meditation teacher and self-compassion practice instructor, dedicated to supporting holistic healing and personal growth.
My therapeutic approach is client-led and collaborative, centered on discovering what truly resonates with each person. I integrate a range of modalities including Narrative, SFT, Mindfulness, Art, Movement, IFS, CBT and integrative spirituality. As Virginia Satir so beautifully said, “We need to see ourselves as basic miracles.”
I am committed to working with all people without discrimination, bringing a compassionate, open-minded, and creative presence to therapy. With warmth, humor, and non-judgment, I strive to create a space where every person feels safe, heard, and seen, offering pure regard and deep respect. My hope is to support clients in uncovering their own truths, strengths, and insights, reconnecting with their inherent wisdom and authentic selves.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud mother who finds happiness in music, the performing arts, art, languages, and travel. I’ve lived in New York, France, and Spain for over 18 years and speak conversational Spanish and French.
